Game-changing experience

So far, my experience with Morty is leaps and bounds better than any other lender. Absolutely love the transparency, clarity, speed, rates, and great customer service. It’s a complete game-changer.

We had great experience with Morty. Keegan is very courteous, customer oriented and handled all requests from the lender in very efficient manner.

Great service

Although I had issues with the lender, Tim and Morty.com were very helpful and always prompt in addressing a concern or answering a question. Despite a challenging period where rates were rapidly rising, they helped make the whole process go smoothly.

Going through Morty resulted in a lower…

Going through Morty resulted in a lower interest rate and lower out of pocket costs at closing. Phillip Estevez, the mortgage advisor, was great in answering all the loan questions and helping navigate through entire process. Jack Edelman, the closer for the loan, did a fantastic job with support and overcoming many builder challenges. Even with the builder finishing the house early and moving up closing by 2 weeks, Jack was able to deliver on time! I would definitely use morty again!

Would use them again

If you don’t mind doing everything through emails and uploads then this is the way to go. All the Morty staff that worked on my mortgage were very good at communicating and getting back with me with what I needed and when I needed to submit it. Jack was a great closing lead and when things got hairy because the lender decided to do an escrow holdback at the last minute then his emails changed to texts and phone calls which I appreciated. I would use them again but hopefully never have to buy another home again!

Morty has an incomparable offering

The offering that Morty has is outstanding! The ability to lock a rate for 0 dollars, 180 days in advance, and unlimited float downs is not available anywhere else, in know because I looked. This was key to our family getting a great rate quickly in a rising rate environment. Of the individuals I spoke with everyone was great, but one individual stood out and that was Jack. He was fantastic! Once he got involved in the process everything went very smooth and his responsiveness was key. As you move through the process, just ensure to loop in all members of your Morty team and things will get done quickly.

Your organization was not proactive and…

Your organization was not proactive and not very forthcoming with information on my closing which ended up being stressful for me. I tried to be very proactive in providing info. Some of your reviewers of documents did not even act like they could read or decipher info. Time off or vacation was taken at what I would have considered critical in processing my loan. However my loan did close on time and I am grateful for that.

When collecting loan application information, we consider all documentation required by lenders and by law, as well as additional materials that are necessary to achieve an efficient, on-time closing. We request all this information upfront and, since every borrower profile is different, we cannot always anticipate all necessary documentation. We regret that our communication around this process didn’t meet your expectations.

Our goal is always to remove stress from the homebuying process, not add to it.

We appreciate your feedback as we are constantly looking for ways to improve our processes.

Overall great

Overall great experience. My closer Jack has been very responsive and got everything straight for us to close on time. Only little mess up was when locking the rate. Even though I submitted everything in time, they failed to lock in the rate of that day. Ended up with a few hundred dollars more in discount points. After negotiating, was told Morty would pay me back the difference after closing. Will see if I do get it back. Other than that, everything else has been nice and easy.

Update: received the payment a few weeks after the closing. Everything is all settled now as they promised. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Jack Edelman and his team were invested in the process from inquiry to close, and helped make what is normally a daunting process an absolute breeze. I recommend them unreservedly and will use them in the future!

Easy Portal and Great Communication

I found Morty with a google search and they have the best rate. I was a little skeptical at first but everyone was very helpful with great communication. The portal was also very easy to use. I was buying a new built so the deadlines were not too bad but still i had a great experience.

My closing lead Jack was very helpful in getting me to close on time!
Both he and my mortgage advisor Phillip were very responsive to all my questions and concerns. Customer service was great!

Fast, Friendly, and Helpful

As a first-time home buyer, the process of buying a house can be scary. Typically drawn-out and complicated, there seem to be a million little steps and you never know what is lurking around the corner.

Morty makes that journey a whole lot less stressful. From the nascent stages of searching for a good interest rate all the way to closing on your new home, Morty is straightforward and transparent. Plus, Morty provides an attentive, dedicated team of specialists (shout out to Angela, Ebony, and Paige!) for each part of the process. I had a slightly atypical home buying process with plenty of twists and turns, and my Morty team always rolled with punches!

Had a Great Experience Working with Jack and Paige

We had a great experience working with Morty throughout our home purchasing process. Jack, Paige, Diego, Mathew, and everyone else from Morty team are very friendly and professional. WOW! Fantastic experience! Highly recommend!

WOW! To be honest, I was skeptical in my search using an online lender! I was intrigued with their amazing rates published! The Morty team was a breathe of fresh air! Tech good... People better!

I found Morty online (of course) when reviewing best rates for a 30yr fixed. I read reviews and decided to investigate further. What I loved was the ability to play with rates / points or credits / lock period to find the best product to meet my needs. The tech is very good - the people even better. Ebony is top notch and provided white glove service. She made me feel as if I was her most important customer. Things went smooth like butter. Credit scores above 800 and I could have gone anywhere. I chose Morty!

Best Rate & hassle-free processing.

Best Rate & hassle-free processing.

I applied for a home loan in morty.com after I am in the contract for purchasing a new home, I am surprised to see that I got the lowest rates compared to other lenders. I was able to lock the rate on the same day.

I worked with Vivek Singh, Jack Edelman & Paige Hawley. They always responded on time.
I was able to get final approval 6 days before my closing.
I would definitely recommend Morty.

Communication was very good throughout…

Communication was very good throughout the process. Morty got everything done on a timely basis so that all went smoothly throughout what some see as a grueling process typically. I was somewhat apprehensive working with a loan facilitator that I found on the internet, but all went well.Very professional group.
