I love the balanced life

I love the balanced life! I’ve been doing Pilates for years and I started with TBL YouTube videos before I had my baby/during the pandemic, thinking I’d go back to my Pilates studio once baby was born but that just didn’t work out. The sisterhood is so much more supportive and engaging than my previous community and I am loving being a part of it! Plus, there’s so many benefits on the app from all kinds of workouts and modifications to recipes and other helpful things. It’s a real blessing!

I find it difficult to stream the…

I find it difficult to stream the programs. Having to log in on a device, mirror the device to the TV and then do the workout. I really wish you could get an app that was on the Roku for these workouts. Also, not thrilled that you are taking tighten and tone off the site and discontinuing the facebook group for it.

Slow and steady transformation

I have really loved doing gentle Pilates. I really like Robyn. I haven’t tried many of the other instructors. I have seen a lot of Progress in my strength in my core. I can now do a roll up unassisted which for me is a huge accomplishment. I’ve been out of shape flabby for many many years.

Very positive vibe

Very positive vibe, Making pilates accessible and enjoyable from the convenience of your own home. Also, I am impressed with the increased offerings and adding specialty areas like post partum as this requires modifications for women experiencing diastasis.

Great routines and monthly workout calendar

I love using the monthly exercise programs as a guide, and save routines to personalise to go back to. I’m looking forward to being able to create my a personalised monthly calendar with my favourite routines that I can mark off each day too. Just having the exercise routines is worth the annual fee, let alone the other great resources!

Get going in a new direction!

When you’re in a caring profession, as many women are, burn out can happen, you fall to the bottom of the list and it is difficult turn that around, even when we know what a healthy lifestyle looks like. The positive, encouragement from the balanced life was exactly what I needed! To have easy access to a wide variety of exercises to do at home, to have healthy food ideas, can make you feel better even if you are a first timer!

Why Balanced life is a perfect fit for my life.

I signed up to Balanced life a few months ago. I love the calendar of workouts as they cover all areas of your body. Watching Robyn lead the session on the beach is very calming and helps me forget the day to day drum of life. The sessions are short enough that you can get them completed everyday. If I drop off my commitment for a while I get a friendly email reminding me of the benefits and it is usually enough to get me back on track.

Trusting the process = Celebrating the progress

As a Mom of 3 who’s had 5 abdominal surgeries I’m conscious of my need for a stronger core and all that Pilates has to offer. I am proof of Robin’s philosophy—You don’t need to sweat for 30 min to an hour to get the results your body needs! I’ve been “trusting the process,” spending 15 min a day on my mat, and eating more healthy. After 5 months of TBL I’m still a believer with a lot of progress to celebrate!

Highly recommend!!

Love how easy this program is and how it's improved how I feel! It's the most consistent I've ever been with a workout program. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to build strength and mobility but is afraid they don't have enough time!

My only feedback is that the app doesn't always load my workout for the day and I have to go to the calendar view. Also, I wish that it would keep track of all the workouts you did somewhere or mark the calendar as you finishing your workout even if you didn't do the scheduled one.

I really like the workouts and especially the modifications. Sometimes they are just too short. I’d like 20-30 minutes a day.

Incredible program for everyone!

A positive, motivating environment where you are led by knowledgeable, supportive leaders and cheered on by an encouraging community. Pilates has been the only workout style that has met my body where it is at, and has brought sustained growth and improved health because of The Balanced Life workouts. I shout its praises from the rooftops whenever I can!

I like the "Grace over guilt"…

I like the "Grace over guilt" approach... It means I'm always prepared to come back, when I miss a few days.
And There are enough options to find whatever I feel I'm in the mood for
Love 15 min workouts- Honestly, I get bored with more than 30 mins.

I love the workouts

I love the workouts. While having recipes is very helpful I find a need for a formatted weekly/monthly meal plan. Otherwise meal planning is time consuming.

Strength and Grace

The strength I have built since November is incredible. My schedule is pretty crazy, so I love that I can fit in workouts in as little as 10 minutes and still see results. And Robin’s attitude of showing yourself some grace is so refreshing.

Great routine

The weekly calendar presents new challenges every and keeps me on track. I utilize the library on the weekend. The instructors are competent and professional while making the workouts fun

YOU are worth this investment!!

I hesitated on purchasing a subscription for quite some time. I’d try the weeks where it was offered for free but wasn’t confident I’d be able to do it consistently. Ultimately, I wasn’t sure I was with the investment as sad as that is to admit. In December, I decided I was. And I’m SO GRATEFUL. I truly have never felt stronger or more balanced (pardon the pun). My goal is to show up at least 5 days a week on the mat. Most of the time I do the scheduled workout and then other times I do the upper back and shoulders release or the foam roller. All of it’s a win. I can feel myself growing and getting stronger and I’m stunned. If you’re on the fence, you’re worth it. It’s worth feeling strong in your own body-it’s the only home you’ll ever have after all!! Thank you, Robin and team! I’m deeply grateful for all of you!
