Very disappointed with ADOEBIKE

Very disappointed with ADOEBIKE. I placed an order on their UK website for bike they only ship to the UK stating shipping within 2-3 days which showed as available. Then after 4 days with no response and no update chased them on Messenger and email to find out why my order had not shipped. Told the bike is out of stock in UK. (even though you can still order them on their site) and did I want a lesser spec bike for the same price instead. I asked for a reasonable discount on a different model but was declined and only offered £20!.
These companies should not advertise goods in stock in the UK when they clearly have nothing at all apart from old kit they want to shift before getting new stock. I am now chasing them for a refund so I can go and buy a real bike in stock in the UK from another reputable vendor.

Save your time money and energy and go elsewhere.

##Update. ADO Marketing asked me to get in touch so John could "Solve my issue" after more than 24hrs and more chasing they have offered me the same replacement bike I have already declined and instead of £20 off they have now offered a bike lock and asked me to amend my review. I have requested a refund and declined to alter my honest review.

Amazing Bike and Customer Service!

Amazing service, at first I was abit unsure as the courier they used (XDP, UK) I had never used before, but my bike arrived within 4 days of ordering and shipped from the UK aswell! I was really happy when I received my ADO A20F, everything was in great condition, except it arrived with a faulty battery. I was really concerned at first as I just wanted to get out on my bike asap and didn’t know if they would solve my issue! But I was reassured by an excellent responsive customer service (after sending pictures of my issue as proof) that I’d receive a new replacement battery free of charge within a week! This was excellent news, and they delivered as promised. I am now a happy ADO A20F owner and am really loving this bike! Thanks ADO!

Good value for money

Good value for money, and better support by Yan, the engineer. I recommend Ado bikes.

Faulty bike. Slow responses.

Ado A20F arrived with a fault. Shows an error 10 code and completely stops working. Happened twice on the first times I used the bike. Both times left me stranded 3 miles from home. On the second time had to manually pedal it home which is no fun on a 35kg bike.

Customer service takes at least a day to respond. Initially they said they'd send a new headlight!!? I insisted on them sending a new display instead. Still haven't received it. Bike has been sat doing nothing for over a week. Ado say it could take 15 days for parts arrive and I don't know if that will fix it.

Their warranty means nothing. You'll be sent parts from China and expected to fix it yourself. My advice is to get a Fiido instead. I've had no problems with that. Ado, avoid.

UPDATE: The parts finally arrived. Fitted them myself and they fixed the problem. Bike worked great for a week until today when I now have a different error code: E09!

Once again I'm stranded and once again will now be waiting for days for them to resolve. This time I'm insisting on a refund and will buy a different brand. Do not buy this bike!

Battery

Bought this bike over a month ago it arrived fast I started riding it there were some noises when pressing the breaks and changing the gears, reported that they send me a video to help me of what to do, did that the noises still there, in the advert says battery lasts 80km o have charged the battery 5 times and only done 93km reported this they said its a battery fault and need to send me a new one, been waiting for e weeks no battery yet now they tell me another 20 days I bought this bike to use it in the summer when battery arrived if it does arrive half the summer will be gone, I just want to return the bike now.

order number 3357.
I was waiting for 14 day to receive my order but i didn't i contact them many times. i was told that the problem from the logistic i don't think it is my problem. from the 23th of may i don't want the bike any more and i want a refund. they told me i have to wait until the bike arrive to the Wearhouse. i don't understand why and how long i'm going to wait. i bought the bike to work and now I can't because of them. i want my money

I booked my bike through INDIEGOGO it’s…

I booked my bike through INDIEGOGO it’s been 8 months and I have not received my bike till date I have written several emails and they have replied by saying it’s on the way this is a shock for me I have even stopped looking for stuff on indiegogo as they are equally responsible I have lost $1200.00 as I don’t know who to contact will be informing the Better Business Bureau.

Great value & support

By far ADO provides best ratio for price/quality. I already have 3 ADO bikes and I really like their features. ADO support is also great and very responsive always ready to help, a thing which is not easy to find on other similar brands.

edit: Big mistake

Big mistake!
After many good reviews i have bought ADO A20+. It was delivered fast and recieved on 05 feb 2022, but the battery was dead. After 2 days of charging it show only 22 V when measured. I contacted support send them some photos and videos and they agreed the battery was dead. They were polite and suggested instead of returning whole bicycle, to wait 2 months for new battery to arrive. Even send me 20 euro for the "inconvenience".
Now after 3 months there is still no battery and they keep stalling. My bicycle is useless and i can't return it for new one or refund because it is way past first month.
It was a big mistake.
Edit 19.06.2022: After John liang from marketing stepped in, the bicycle was replaced. They arranged the transport in both directions. Now it is fine after 4 months from initial purchase. Still taking away 2 stars for bad experience and missing spare batteries in Europe.
The bicycle looks and works fine. The motor is a bit too "punchy" for my taste even on low settings. I mean the acceleration is great, but the feeling is like a rocket, not like assist. I gues it is a different feeling that i have to get use to.
No other negatives for now.

YAN my man

YAN my man. Answering very fast and help me a lot. And if I want to send my bike back, because it has a little annoying noise in the back tire, I can send it anytime back to repair! The little noise isn’t a big deal, but if it’s get louder, I can send it back! Nice support team and good communication! THANKS ADO!

Excellent Customer Service Support

Received A16+ with battery issues but, with excellent customer support service, new battery was reissued immediately. Overall I was pleased with the ebike, it was fun to ride, easy to fold, good design. I would recommend ADO A16+ to my friends.

Happy customer here

Very good product (ADO A20+ ebike) and very good service. Fast delivery from an European warehouse (4 days) and an excellent price/quality ratio. Great customer support - a small fabrication defect (saddle skin rip) was resolved with a saddle replacement from China.

First of all shipping was extremely…

First of all shipping was extremely fast (3 working days).

And second bike itself looks almost perfectly.
Why 4 stars? Because bike came with defected tire/tube it has bump. Despite that I have never seen customer support answering so quickly! I am happy because they are going to send replacement.

battery problem

The company cannot supply spare parts for Europe and I cannot use my bike. There is no solution, it keeps stalling.

Been very impressed and surprised

Brought a ADO A20 Plus directly from website.
Goods comms, delivered from UK warehouse in 4 days.

Not reviewing the bike, plenty of reviews out there, but I'm very happy for the price.

Had a couple of issues. Contacted ADO, replies are less than 24 hours each time. Engineer took time to duplicate my issue and send me video how to fix.

Can't fault them.

Great bike

Great bike, great service. No complaints, but one suggestion: the importance of removing the key before folding the bike is important, or the key (which is too soft a metal - we had others made of harder stuff) can bend and/or break.
