I would give ZERO stars if possible. This is the worst experience once you have ordered and paid for the appliances. AJ Madison hangs up on you - does not want to help in any way... The automated system times out and hangs up on you. Very Bad Customer Service.

Run don't walk away from this company. Took a chance spending over 4k on a mini split and two wall units. Got the compressor but no wall units which were $1400.00. Called about 10 times only get promises and run arounds. Its been almost 2 months and all they say is its shipped. Don't think I will ever get them. They are pros at blowing you off. Had to dispute charge on credit card. These people are cons. Please send any complaints to NYS attorney general so they can start following them and maybe put them out of business.
Don't use AJ Madison. Good prices, reasonable delivery timing for products in stock. However, when there is an issue, and a piece is missing from the order, it will take 10-12 hours of your life - and counting...still no reply back after the first contact, which took hours to get a person on the phone. They never replied to my emails to customer support - 1 per business day. They are terrible as customer service, and will leave you with a dryer that you can not stack on your washer for at least 2 weeks (and counting) because they can't seem to decide to follow up, answer a phone call, or answer an email. Awful experience.
Terrible customer support. We have had to wait a year for our appliance and it arrived damaged. No one informed us that the appliance was damaged they just indicated it was not on the truck for delivery. When we called to get status our sales contact and customer service were not available.
I had issues finding a specific microwave when we were remodeling our kitchen. The first place we ordered from said it would be shipped at the end of the week. The day before the arrival date, we received an email stating it was delayed for two months! We cancelled the order and searched elsewhere. That order came in on time, but came in damaged. I watched the delivery man drop it twice in the truck and once I’n my yard. Now, it was obvious we would not have the microwave in time for the renovation. Miraculously, AJ Madison had it in stock. When I called them to verify that it was, indeed, in stock, they helped me expedite the order and ship the same day to ensure no one else tagged it. I received email notifications every day with an update on the delivery status. The delivery service they use, AM Home Delivery, is great! The delivery was on time and the microwave was safely packaged and delivered! This was the best service we have had during the entire renovation! AJ Madison and AM Home Delivery are amazing! I will definitely do business with them again!
on 05/22/2022,i ordered an conditioner from Aj Madison the the salesmen was named abie krump. when he told me that since they used a 3rd party shipper to nj i had to pay 49.00 for shipping. I found out when i purchased a second unit on 05/31/2022 ,order# 152044775,that i was overcharged.I requested a credit for the shipping charge and the tax on the shipping charge I was told i had to speak to a customer service person in this area.i spoke an agent named kaitlin .she was very helpful and told me she would process a refund to my credit card.
Under no circumstances should you buy from AJ Madison! Go to ABT, or Best Buy or PC Richards or Lowe's or ANYWHERE ELSE. They sold me an Electrolux washing machine and installation service... but they neglected to tell me that the installers would not be able to complete the installation of all the features of the machine, such as the reversible door. (Washing machines come with a hinge on the left side, but in my tiny space, I need the hinge on the right side.) So now I need to hire ANOTHER installation company (a REAL one) to reverse the door, and it will cost over $300. Call me crazy, but I think that if you sell a machine on with a reversible door on your website, and you sell professional installations, YOU MUST INDICATE THAT THE INSTALLERS ARE UNABLE TO HANDLE ALL ASPECTS OF THE INSTALLATION.
And that's not all. I wish I could post photos here to show you the state they left my apartment in. They left dirt and garbage all over the floor. Dirt was ground dirt into the carpet in such a way that it will have to be professionally cleaned or replaced. And they dumped the trash, old hoses and dirty hardware in our (full) clothing hamper. As an added bonus, they broke the drain pan under the washer!
The Electrolux machine is great. I just wish I had bought it ANYWHERE ELSE.
Purchased $4500+ Miele washer dryer set with stacking drawer. Never sent drawer, $249. Wouldn't respond in email or by phone. Set worthless without stacking drawer. Then when I waited through their purposeful labyrinth of phone service, they were "back ordered". Probably back ordered when I ordered originally. I will stop card payment, they can come pick them up. Plan B. This company SUCKS!
Awful customer service. This is the third time back due to them having specialty appliances for my company and probably the last. No matter how many times i tell them the delivery is to an 8-4pm business address, they always give me stupid delivery windows like 7-11pm. Then I call to reschedule, wait on hold 10-20 minutes only to be “disconnected” every single time. Once i finally get through to an actual representative, they reschedule the delivery, usually a week or more out, if they can even give me a date when I call…
I have bought a lot of appliances from AJ Maddison. Their products are fine but the warranty they sell through new leaf is horrible, hardly speak English and their service is terrible. They act like they don't want to help you. You are better off spending extra and buying a factory warranty. Shame on them for offering such crap
They are totally unresponsive to repeat requests concerning my order. They did not return phone messages. When I did speak to a rep , they never followed up on my inquiry.
They kept saying my item has shipped, and yet one month later UPS said they never received it.
I filed a complaint with my credit card company and they tried to charge me a 30% return fee for an item they never even shipped.
Do not, I repeat do not ever shop with these people it has been six weeks of nonsense dealing with them
Item arrived damaged and needs to be returned. Six weeks later I’m still waiting for “return authorization”. Extremely long hold times on the phone, non responsive to emails. I filed a CC claims so we’ll see if that makes a difference. Terrible customer service. Don’t do business with them!
I received a high-end gas cooktop that was damaged in December 2021. I notified AJ Madison of the issue on 12/23. I received a reply on 12/26, offering a discount to keep the item, which I declined. On 12/27 AJ Madison advised me they were seeking a Return Authorization number from the manufacturer. I emailed AJ Madison on 01/11 asking the status of obtaining the RA. They have been completely unresponsive since 12/27, which is ridiculous. I will be initiating a credit card dispute.

About a year ago a had a super experience with them (read original review below). Placed a second order with them now and its been a disaster. Waited home all day multiple times and they dint show up. Customer service is terrible. Was firced to use a laundry mat for weeks. Cannot be trusted, disrespectful and unreliable. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU SHOP ELSEWHERE.
We received only the installation parts and no cooktop. After talking to customer service, they told me "Sorry file a claim with your insurance company" on a $5k product because it came directly from the manufacturer. WHAT A RIPOFF AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! SO MANY MORE OPTIONS THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS! Will be taking legal action if not resolved ASAP.

I purchased a cooktop which arrived broken, contacted customer service, waited weeks for someone to get back to me. Was told that I was being shipped a replacement and the damaged item would be picked up. Waited WEEKS again. Delivery people came to pick up the broken item but DID NOT BRING REPLACEMENT. Now no one answers me calls or emails.
The worst part is that I have to give 1 star....Seriously....I won't go as far to say this place is a scam, but it is really close. Horrible customer service, we have been waiting 30 days for a fridge that they said they had in stock. I have spent at least 7 hrs total on hold and been hung up on 3-4 times throughout the process....DON'T DO IT PEOPLE!!!! Learn from my mistakes....
I bought a Scotsman icemaker in April 2021 along with a 5 year extended warranty. It failed in August and I have been trying to get service every since. The NewLeaf service contractor acknowledged my claim, but I have not heard a word about scheduling a repair and it's been almost 2 months. Glad it is not a broken refrigerator. This company is a total fraud.
Refrigerator gets delivered yesterday. Water isn't flowing and ice isn't being made; a clear installation issue
I call AJ Madison and first get transferred to three different people. Then, 30 minutes later, a representative says they can have a GE technician come out three days later. Ummm, I just purchased a brand new, expensive refrigerator; my old refrigerator didn't have these issues ... classic installation problem
Despite asking for someone to come out and review the installation job earlier than 3 days from now, the representative refuses. I ask them to take back the refrigerator and provide a refund, they refuse
So they'll deliver a product, perform a faulty installation job that leaves you without filtered water or ice for three days, and refuse to do anything about it themselves
Absolutely horrible service and delivery. They do everything they can to make it IMPOSSIBLE to reach them, still using COVID as an excuse when the real culprit is their absolute incompetence. They have jeopardized my entire kitchen remodel. What a joke of a company. Do NOT order from them no matter what you do. Do not make the same mistake as me!!!
